iScreensaver Designer: Validation Issues
After you purchase a License Code from our Web Store, iScreensaver Designer needs to make a one-time network connection to validate your purchase.
If the software can't connect to our server, you'll get a notice that the Validation failed.
The most common reasons for a validation connection to fail:
- Your network is disconnected -- make sure the computer you are installing the software on has a live internet connection.
- Your PC's firewall is on. Temporarily disable the firewall, validate, and then you can re-enable the firewall.
- Your PC is using a network proxy. iScreensaver Designer version 4.1 and later can auto-detect these proxies, and will automatically use them.
