Qualifying for a Discounted License
We offer a generous discount on iScreensaver Designer Licenses for bona-fide non-profit, non-commercial, or educational use. Please note: giving away screensavers for free as marketing or advertising does not qualify as Educational nor Non-Profit. Sorry!To qualify, you must meet these requirements:
- If you are a student or faculty member with an .edu email address, you can purchase using the Educational Discount in your name.
- If you are a organization member with an .org email address, you can purchase using the Non-Commercial discount in the name of your organization.
- If you are not a school, and your organization has true Non-Profit status, and will not use the software for any commercial activites, or in support of any commercial activites, then you qualify. In the United States, these organizations typically have Internal Revenue Section 501(c)(3) status.
- If you do not have Non-Profit status, you may still qualify if you are preparing the screensavers on behalf of a third party who meets the terms above and will only use the software for that purpose. In this case, you must purchase the license in the name of the Non-Profit organization.

Answer: No. A For-Profit or Commercial entity using the screensaver does not qualify for a non-commercial discount. -

Answer: No, however you may register in the name of the wonderful non-profit organization. In the Comments sections, please include a link to the organization, if available, as we absolutely enjoy seeing the screensavers for the non-profits around the world. (If you have many clients, it would be more cost-effective to purchase a Big Business license in your own name.) -
Question: I am a freelance graphics designer, working on a project for a non-profit agency. Do I qualify?
Answer: Yes, but you must register the software in the name of the non-profit agency, and you would need to purchase an additional license each time you worked for a new agency. Therefore, it may be more cost-effective to purchase an Big Business license in your own name.
