Patching iScreensaver Designer 3.5 to avoid the "Flash Disabled" warningBackground: As of QuickTime 7.3.1, Flash playback is disabled entirely (see http://iscreensaver.com/qt713.shtml ) for details. Unfortunately, iScreensaver 3.5 was released before this time, when the user could still re-enable Flash playback. Thus iScreensaver Installers always check to see if Flash is enabled, and if not, shows an error message. Since the release of QuickTime 7.3.1, this error message shows up 100% of the time, and there is actually no way to re-enable Flash. Many users are complaining about this. By following these instructions, you can modify the installation of iScreensaver Designer 3.5 so it will create screensaver installers that do not perform the Flash Check anymore upon installation. Solution: To continue, download and follow the instructions here: http://iscreensaver.com/downloads/3.5FlashEnablePatchV1.zip [This message has been edited by iScreensaver Support (edited 06-30-2008).] [This message has been edited by iScreensaver Support (edited 07-01-2008).] IP: Logged | |
