[Solved] OSX "unidentified developer" warning
This question is about the "pro" version.
The screensavers we have created with iScreensaver are beautiful - thank you!
We have a bump on running the resulting installer on OS X v. 10.8 and higher. If someone double-clicks on the installer, they are blocked, with a message saying the executable is from an "unidentified developer". Instead, the user must change their preferences in Gatekeeper, or control-click to open and run that way.
Basically it's the situation described here:http://www.imore.com/how-open-apps-unidentified-developer-os-x-mountain-lion
Does iScreensaver Pro have any way to work around this? What we'd like is to let the installer run just by double-clicking on it, since that will be a simpler user experience. We are willing to get a developer account with Apple.
