Hey All,So I am having this weird problem. I am building a PC/XP screensaver from an OSX environment, and when I test this screensaver on the same machine (I am running VMware and XP) everything works fine. If I move this to another machine, things get broken. I read the thread about osx having double resource forks, so I zipped it up on a mac before moving the zip file onto a pc. Once the installer is moved onto a PC, I extract the .zip files and I get 2 files: 1. A folder named "_MACOSX" 2. The PC screensaver installer. When I try to install using the installer, the executable launches, but I immediately notice that the graphics that I imported as the title screen is gone, and the default iScreensaver title is there, however the text I wrote for the "About this screensaver" is still there. It seems to install somewhat, despite these 2 weird things, however when I try to run the screensaver, I get a blank screen, and this error message: ------------------------------------------------ iScreensaver: An error occured. Internal Error = cStage.NextAsset: movie file won't open : c:\Documents....etc...mov Please help! Thanks in advance. IP: Logged |
