Is there any reason that a screensaver created from a source other than flash would be affected by Mac Quicktime not having flash support enabled?

My client is saying she is getting Flash related errors, but I don't see how that is possible.

There is a warning that will show up, when you first install the screensaver, if Flash under QuickTime is disabled. This warning will show up whether or not the screensaver actually includes Flash content. It's just a warning and can be safely ignored.

If, however, you actually have Flash content, be aware that it won't work in the latest versions of QuickTime. See http://iscreensaver.com/qt713.shtml

uhh, this kinda sucks. I just bought the unlimited license for 500 bucks and I cannot get this error message to go away.

I need to deliver this screensaver tomorrow, and this error message NEEDS to go away. The big red stop sign with an exclamation mark in the error message and the fact that OSX defaults to the "stop" option versus the "continue" option will ensure that everyone that downloads and tries to install this will think that they are missing a plug-in of some kind.

i created this screensaver in after effects, and pumped out a quicktime movie to avoid this exact problem.

am I to understand that this error message is built into the installer to show up no matter what the case? if so I can safely say that this was an absolute horrible decision you guys made.

please tell me there is a way to disable this warning, or at least make it appear more friendly, like in the sense that the screensaver will work. because right now it looks like something is wrong, and my client doesn't like things that look wrong.

please help, and if you can't I kinda want my money back.

Has anything been done about this issue in the past YEAR? I keep seeing your note about "update to version 4" - but there is no version 4, only 3.5.
