I just picked up this software over the weekend. While making my first screensaver I added 110 photos, and a .mov file. I then unchecked the box to include the extra video clip and built the screensaver. When I went to install the screensaver I get an error saying that the ###########.mov file could not be found, and then the install aborted. If I check the box to include the extra video clip again, and then rebuild, the install works. Apparently the software doesn't look to see whether the check box is checked before it attempts to copy the video file during installation. The other issue I had was that once I unlocked my extra content (video file), the screen saver ALWAYS shows the video. I don't see any way to get back to my slideshow. Is this a "feature" or am I missing something? Thanks IP: Logged |

The first thing you mention sounds like a bug. The work around would be to create a new project file and add only the slides. You can copy/paste slides from one project to another to ease this. The second issue is a limitation of the version 3.5 software -- you can have either a slide show, OR a movie, but not both in the same project.
Version 4.0 will be much more flexible, allowing unlimited #s of movies and images mixed together. IP: Logged |
