I have created 4 different screensaver installers. Each one has used high quality JPGs, with no visible compression 'blocking'or 'artefacting'. The final installed screensavers are badly affected with high compression 'blocking'. The Compression settings were unavailable/inactive when creating. Any ideas anyone?many thanks. Fi IP: Logged |

To change the JPEG compression level (or turn it off entirely), you need to go to Expert mode to use the slide show editor: See http://iscreensaver.com/editssl-osx.shtml Also, in rare cases if you are saving your image files with thumbnail images, these tiny images will be used instead of the proper full size images. If this happens, just re-save your images w/o thumbnails. IP: Logged | |
