If you are having trouble getting your screensaver to work, be sure to try follow steps:
- Does your movie file play back properly in QuickTime Player under both Macintosh and Windows? If QuickTime player can't play your movie, there is no way the screensaver will work.
- Does your movie file play back properly from iScreensaver Designer when you click the "Preview" button? If not, there is no way the screensaver will work.
- Be very careful with the "Smoother Video (Play Every Frame) setting" on the Mac Control Panel (Settings). This setting will make 70-90% of movies malfunction. Best to leave it OFF.
- If your movie is larger than about 1MB in size, be sure to also turn OFF the "Load Into RAM" setting (Mac Control Panel / Settings).
