Author Topic:   NilObjectException Error shortmatt Junior Member Posts: 1 Registered: Apr 2001 posted 04-20-2001 03:31 AM             I keep getting an NilObjectExepction error when iScreensaver is launched. Any ideas as what is causing it? v. 1.5, OS 9.1, G4 server w/ AGP Graphics IP: Logged xochi help unregistered posted 04-20-2001 09:17 AM               Did you install in the default location? Did you have a previous installation? You may want to try deleting your preferences files (go to System Folder: Preferences: and delete "iScreensaver Prefs" and "iScreensaver Build Prefs"). Just finished installing on 10 iMacs w/9.0.4, no problem, works fine. However w/ the G4, 9.1, ROM 7.5.1 I get the same error message above after the 2nd launch. First launch is fine. Restart, freezes at launch. Hard reboot. Extensions off. Remove iscreensaver from startup menu.Reboot. Launch iscreensaver, get same message above. Delete prefs, problem fixed. Repeat above. If I don't have a server logon window appear on boot, iscreensaver launches fine. IP: Logged chich unregistered posted 01-19-2002 12:55 PM               Deleting the preferences files did it for me but now when Iopen iscreensaver it says I am an unregistered user (even though I am registered!) and asks me for my registration code again. I can't find my registration code so where can I get it from ?
