'Green Screens' Campaign: Mac OS 9

Step 1 of 2: Set the Screen Saver Delay:

1. From the Apple Menu, choose "Control Panels."
2. Double-click your screen saver.
3. Click "Settings."
4. Set the "Sleep" delay as desired.
5. Set the "Energy Saver" time as desired.

1. From the Apple Menu, choose "Control Panels."
2. Choose "Energy Saver."
3. Click "Show Details" if needed.
4. Click "Separate Timing for Display Sleep" and use the slider to set an appropriate delay.
5. Or, to make the entire computer sleep, use the "Put the system to sleep whenever it's inactive for" slider.
6. To have the entire computer turn on or off at certain times, click the "Schedule" tab.
